Independence Day Fireworks

So we went up on our roof and watched the fireworks. We had an excellent view. The weather was terrible, rainy and misty but then it cleared up just as the show was about to start.

It was a pretty good fireworks display. Only becaues of Smiley faces, love hearts, stars and cubes and saturns. There's no photos of these so you'll just have to settle for spherical fireworks and trust me on this one.

A photo of some people on a nieghbouring roof. Roof tops were hives of activity for the duration of the show.


And the FDNY joined in the celebration by shooting coloured streams of water from a barge into the river.
